Very good.
Next question:
How many US Presidents never served in the U.S military?
Can you list them?
Good Luck this is a tough one.

Yikes Patty, that would be a tough one, because the vast majority have served in the military in one way or another.
That being so, it's easier to list the ones who didn't:
John Adams and his son J.Q. never served in the military.
Then there was Van Buren, Cleveland, and Taft……….
Then no surprise, one of our worst presidents, the "progressive" (read socialist) Woodrow Wilson
Then Harding and "Silent Cal" (Coolidge), then Hoover.
Next the CinC of our forces in WWII, FDR (medical issues….blue blood perhaps….lol)
After that you have to jump all the way Bill Clinton who in a letter to Senator Fulbright said he "loathed the military".
Last and perhaps least, we come to the current president, who in addition to never having any military experience, also never had any experience in anything else relevant that qualified him for the job.

They (the International Left) don't want the use of reason to prevail. If people can think for themselves then they'll start wanting to vote for themselves. So if you can stop them from thinking for themselves, then the battle for dictatorship is essentially won.

Ha….. you got me Patty………I forgot Millard Fillmore. But then everyone forgets poor Millard Fillmore for about just about everything……..
My approach to the question was flawed. I was thinking about those that served in the military and had military experience as a political selling point, when they ran for the presidency. It used to be a considerable factor in American politics. Not so much any more, as we saw highly decorated war hero Bob Dole defeated by draft dodger Bill Clinton, and war hero John McCain defeated by…..uh….what was his name again?
Our boy Millard did not serve in the military before he was president. Unbelievably, he served after he had been president. He organized some sort of group consisting mainly of "older" veterans— forget what it was called, too lazy to look it up…..
But he did such a good job putting this unit of ground pounding old bastards together, that the Army ended up giving him a commission as a commanding officer of the unit.
That's a trivia question in itself. What was the name of the unit? Damned if I can recall, but it's a shame there isn't a similar unit in the Army today.
I'm pretty sure Millard was the last of the Whigs too…..

Good job but I should note that there are three possible answers but most people think of Gerald Ford.
Three possible answers:
1)) Richard Nixon: survived two attempts, one in 1972 when a Milwaukee native tried to shoot Nixon on a trip to Ottawa, and one in 1974 when a 9-11-style one-man hijacking failed to materialize.
2) Gerry Ford: Two attempts about two weeks from each other in September 1975, both in California, the first by a member of the Manson family.
3) George W. Bush: in February 2001, a man fired shots at the White House from behind the fence in front, but it was a pretty half-assed assassination attempt as far as things go. The second was when a live grenade was tossed his way in 2005 during a visit to Georgia (the country, not the state).
Give me a minute to think of another question busy today.

So Eisenhower changed the name but why?
I'm always too late to these things but it looks like I'm early on these.
Who was president during America's first centennial, 1876?
Grant
Who was president during America's bicentennial, 1976?
Ford
