Chasing Blue Takes the Stage at the Blue Moon Coffeehouse This Saturday Night

On Saturday, April 14th at 7:30, the Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland features Chasing Blue. This exciting young bluegrass band from Canada and the U.S.has played at many well known clubs and festivals, the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival (MA), Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival (NY), Podunk Bluegrass Festival (CT), Laurie Blue Bluegrass Festival (PEI, Canada), FOX News Austin (TX), KUT Folkways Radio (TX), Berklee’s International Folk Festival (MA), The International Bluegrass Awards Sponsored Showcase (TN) and The Music Barn (NB, Canada). Chasing Blue came together in the fall of 2008 at a bluegrass ensemble at Berklee College of Music. They play a mix of original and traditional bluegrass material with unique arrangements and hard-driving style. Between the band’s two sets, there will be an open mic and a raffle.
