Eva Braun packing 'em in at Gametime

I’ve been laying low the past few weeks going to cookouts pretty much every weekend, but this past Friday night, I was able to get out of work early and catch a Friday night gig. Eva Braun at Gametime seemed like a good choice and by time the night was over, I was not disappointed.  We got there a bit early; around 8:30 and it was pretty quiet. The band went on shortly after 9:00. By 9:30, I looked around and it noticed the place was beginning to get packed. By the end of the night, it was as crowded as I’ve seen it there in a long time, and they were treated to a kickin’ performance by Eva Braun. The joint was jumping with songs like “Roadhouse Blues”, “Dreams I’m Never Going to See”, “Stranglehold” and “Tie Your Mother Down” to name a few. The crowd was having a blast, and the band fed off of that, giving one of the best shows I’ve seen them do. Also, other local talent like “The Singing Cowboy” Kenny Black and Blind Ambition’s Billy Parsons lent their talents to a few songs. Another guy named Mark from a band called True Rumor also filled in on a song, but I wasn’t able to get his last name. All in all, this was a great night of rock at the old bar in West RockVegas.

Eva Braun is Graham Branlund on guitar, Mike Ciavattieri on bass and Chico Walker on drums. Their next gig is this Saturday night at  Daddy’s Beach Club on Nantasket Beach in Hull.
