Lonesome Jukebox

On Saturday, March 10th at 7:30, the Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland adds a little twang with the music of Lonesome Jukebox.  They play music from across the Americana spectrum, from rockabilly, to country swing, to cajun/zydeco, to R & B and back again.  Their only requirement is that the music has to be fun.  Lonesome Jukebox has four CDs out on Plymouth’s PLIMRO Records.   Their reputation has landed them opening gigs for Marcia Ball, Big Sandy and the Fly-Rite Boys, Deke Dickerson, and Sleepy Labeef.  If you like your music fun, danceable and delivered by friendly musicians who love what they do, this show is for you. Between the band’s sets, there’ll be an open mic and a raffle. Tickets are $7 at the door, and children 12 and under are free. The address is Channing Unitarian Universalist Church, 45 Webster Street, Rockland.
