Rockland Legion Post 147 continues to play some solid baseball of late, and reap the benefit in the win column.
Brody Loughlin, the Rockland starter, pitched a complete game shutout against Pembroke Legion Post 143. Loughlin struck out nine, and allowed 6 hits over seven innings, and was strong form start to finish. The Post 147 offensive attack consisted of Sean Roche, Matt Nicholson, John Mulready and Ken Turner. Roche after going 3 for 3 at the plate, scored three times, once on a double by John Mulready, and the other two times off hits by Matt Nicholson. Rockland got a big hit from Ken Turner in the fourth inning, scoring John Mulready and Cejay Suarez, who both reached base on walks. Brody Loughlin kept Post 143 hitters off balance all day, and Rocklands’ defense was solid to complete the shutout.
On The Positive ; 
 Brody Loughlin notched his fourth (4th) Win of the season. Sean Roche went 3 for 3, Matt Nicolson went 2 for 4, and John Mulready went 2 for 3 at the dish. Ken Turner had 2 RBI and Rockland Defense posted an error free game.
