On Saturday, November 10th at 7:30, the Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland features the music of Acousticana. Acousticana plays American roots music, including Bluegrass, Tex-Mex, folk, country, gospel, and Cajun— tastefully informed by contemporary influences. They have played at Passims and The Narrows Center for the Performing Arts with rising Americana stars- Three Tall Pines, at The Newport Arts Festival (RI), and at The Sandywood Center for the Performing Arts (RI). They come to this show fresh from their performance in the Spindle City Americana Music Festival at The Narrows on Oct. 27. Between sets by Acousticana, there will be an open mic.
