Highway’s End Closes Out the Season at the Blue Moon Coffeehouse, Saturday, May 16th

On Saturday, May 16th at 7:30 p.m., the Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland, MA closes out its season with the appropriately named band Highway’s End.  Highway’s End is an acoustic band based in Rhode Island. Their songs mix country music storytelling with the musicianship of bluegrass and the flash of heavy metal guitar heroes. Great pickers as well as songwriters, the members of Highway’s End are fairly new as a band, but seasoned players individually. They recently performed at the Bluegrass Throedown at Nick-a-Nees in RI, the Pembroke Arts Festival (and they’re fixing to do it again in August), The Spot Underground, Manchester 65, and the Pawtucket Red Sox. They have an upcoming show at Bluegrass on the Pawtucket.  They have a CD titled Nor’easter.  Here’s a newer track called ”Lies.” https://youtu.be/CEu6V_jtIjM.    Tickets are $8 at the door and kids 12 and under are free.  The address is 45 Webster Street, Rockland, MA.   Bring your instruments for the open mike!
