Revitalization of Rockland Center takes another large step forward.

New benches and trees donated to the Town’s Revitalization Committee were dedicated at Rockland Town Hall today. State Representative Rhonda Nyman and family joined many of the Town  Hall workers who were amongst the crowd that braved a cool, overcast day to pay their respects and say thank you. Selectman Debbie O’Brien was MC today, thanking all those who have contributed the benches and trees that line Union Street from North Ave. to Union Square. Former State Representative Robert Nyman’s bench can be found in the Town Hall Plaza, and the names and locations of all the benches and trees can be found inside Town Hall. The benches and trees can be found along Union Street; and the one honoring the memory of Todd Fournier is at the Rockland Library. Make sure to stop and see everyone’s bench or tree and take a minute or two to sit and reflect on our own lives here in Rockland, Massachusetts.
