ChristaOn Saturday, November 15th at 7:30 p.m., The Blue Moon Coffeehouse features two singer/songwriters: Christa Gniadek and Bill Motte.  Both are incredible songwriters, yet their songs come out of very different eras and experiences. Christa Gniadek is 24 years old graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Songwriting. She has opened for regional and national acts such as Red Wanting Blue, The Alternate Routes, and Chatham County Line.  You can listen to her music at www.christagniadek.com or check our her Facebook page. Her CD, Leaving Boston, is also available on Pandora Radio. Bill Motte comes to songwriting from a life full of experiences and reflection. A local legend in the style of American great Bill Staines, Bill’s gravelly voice and heart-felt ballads capture the hardships and joys of contemporary America. His songs tell unforgettable stories, and you will find yourself thinking about the characters long after the music has stopped. If life has something to teach us, you’ll find at least one of those lessons in every Bill Motte song. Bill has released two CDs, “Thinking of You” (2013) and “Memphis Rain” (2012), and is working on a new one. Bill MotteCheck him out on www.facebook.com/BillMotteSongwriter. The evening will also feature a singer/songwriter open mike, with performers sharing their own originals.
