A Great Night To Be In Rockland

November 27, 2011

The weather was perfect and so was the night! From Holy Family Church, to Santa’s Place on the corner of Vernon Street, the Rockland people were there in droves. Pam Murphy and all the usual suspects including Mr. Rockland, Peter Park, did a great job all around.

Please!!! When I open my eyes, let it be gone!

Everyone was in a festive mood and traveling from one end to the other was easy. There were over 1000 cups of clam chowder distributed to the crowds who flocked to the Fire Station to sample the Rush Lowe specialty. Bob Biggins did a fine job with Santa’s Place and Mr. & Mrs. Claus were just perfect. The Lions, as always, “roar” as they are always here to help.  Too many people to thank here, so we will leave that to Pam.

"Whew! I thought I lost it there for a moment."

Rob for Rockland always holds up his end, while Murph shows a deft square dance move.
