Happy Fourth Of July Week End

July 1, 2011

Rockland's Own Stacey Healy, Activities Director

Colonial Nursing Home in Weymouth kicked off the Fourth of July Week End in style today with a full-blown cookout. Many Rocklandites live and work at the deficiency-free home and were on hand today for the official kickoff to summer. The home hosts six major cookouts from now until Labor Day where friends, family and residents gather together for some food, fun and fellowship. The cookouts are always fantastic – with chicken, ribs, burgers and dogs, homemade pasta and potato salad, corn-on-the-cob and juicy, seedless watermelon. Of course, there is always live local entertainment as well.

Every one from Colonial Nursing Home would like to wish all our Rockland Friends a happy and safe Fourth of July.
