stroll9This is a busy time of year for “the club that has no fun. “The Rockland Lions Club will kick off the season at the Rockland Christmas Stroll on Saturday November 28th in Rockland Center. The Club will have their famous Chuck Wagon in front of Town Hall

selling Fried Dough and their famous Hot Cocoa. The Club will also be sponsoring the New England Clam Chowder booth in front of the Fire Station. The Lions voted to provide up to 1000.00 for the popular white soup line again this year. The Club counts on the generous contributions of the Rockland people in the way of donations to help subsidize the event.

December 7th at the Esten School is the clubs very popular Breakfast with Santa. A fabulous all you can eat breakfast buffet complete with custom omelette station. Pictures with Santa all kinds of games prizes and fun. The breakfast line opens at 8 am and goes until noon. This is a great event and a great value. 

 

 

 

treesale7DSC00423December 13 and 14 is the Fifth Annual Rockland Lions Club Tree and Wreath Sale at Walgreens Parking lot. The Lions club picks 100 perfect Christmas trees to set up and sell in the two day event. A roaring fire, clam chowder, hot cocoa for the kids and Lions Hot cocoa for the adults makes this tree buying experience unforgettable. Come early on Saturday as we expect to sell out again this year. The Lions club also gives away ten of the trees to families who might not otherwise buy one. If you know someone who needs one or would like to purchase one for someone who needs one contact Lion Brian 781 985 3836. The Lions Club will donate to five dollars to the youth sports organization of your choice for any tree over 45.00. We can also get special order hand picked giant trees if ordered in advance.

Lion John and Randy Rolston will host the annual Lions Club Christmas Party at their home on December 21 to wrap up the Christmas Season for the Club.
