SENIOR DIVISION;

The Rockland Senior Legion Post 147 has won back to back games to improve their record to 3-3. Coming off an underachieving season last year there is cause for excitement.

On June 17th, Friday night at Cronin Field in Hingham, Post 147 came out on top with an 8 – 4 Victory over Hingham Post 120. Harrison Shields was the winning pitcher striking out 5 over 6 innings of solid work. The offense was led by Brandon Hutchinson, Mike Leavitt, Chris McHugh and Andrew Frazer all of who added two hits each.

On Sunday Father’s Day the Post 147 “Raiders” made it two in a row at Rockland Stadium against Pembroke Post 143 with a 7-4 win. Mike McPeck pitched a complete game victory striking out 8, and also added 3 hits at the plate. After falling behind early, an RBI single from second baseman James Dolan tied the ball game at 4 – 4. The winning runs were scored in the 5th with back to back run scoring singles from Brian O’Donovan( who had three hits on the day) and Nick Brown. ShortStop Dylan Bernache also added a pair of hits.
