Six Men Arrested in Undercover Operation Targeting Online Child Exploitation in Rockland County

Montebello, NY – Six men were arrested following a multi-agency undercover operation aimed at addressing online child exploitation in Rockland County. The operation, conducted by the New York State Police, Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, and Town of Ramapo Police Department, focused on infiltrating online platforms known to facilitate child exploitation crimes.

The investigation, which took place over several days, employed advanced cyber techniques to identify and apprehend suspects who were allegedly attempting to exploit children through the internet and arrange in-person meetings.

The suspects arrested and charged include:

  • Jose B. Tombriz-Ixquiactap, 28, of Monticello, charged with attempted rape in the first degree and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Yessachar D. Klahr, 51, of Monsey, charged with attempted rape in the first degree, attempted patronizing for prostitution in the third degree, and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Adrian Rosas, 33, of Stony Point, charged with attempted rape in the first degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Diego Patricio D. Pachar Corte, 38, of Cortlandt Manor, charged with attempted rape in the second degree, attempted disseminating indecent material to minors in the first degree, and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Nayib J. Valdivia, 33, of Ossining, charged with attempted disseminating indecent material to minors in the first degree and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Carl W. Ellis, 55, of Maplewood, NJ, charged with attempted rape in the second degree, attempted disseminating indecent material to minors in the first degree, attempted endangering the welfare of a child, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.

All six men were remanded to the Rockland County Jail. They are scheduled to appear in Montebello Village Court on April 11, 2025, at 3 p.m.

Authorities have praised the successful operation and emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to combat online child exploitation.
