Congratulations to Teddy Maldonado, General Manager of Interstate Toyota. Supervisor Hoehmann and the Town Board presented him with a certificate of merit for his support for Veterans and First Responders through the not-for-profit Veteran Angels of Hope.
At Thanksgiving, Christmas/Hanukah and Easter/Passover, Veterans Angels provides meals to hundreds of local Veterans with dinner bags that include a 14 pound frozen turkey, vegetables, potatoes, cheese and dessert. In 2010, they served 35 bags and have grown to now providing 1,500 bags last Thanksgiving. Teddy’s support is crucial to the operation of the Veterans Angels of Hope and the Town Board thanked him for his dedication to our Veterans and our community.
