Due to the anticipated heavy rainfall and gusty winds (20-25mph) this weekend, the 9/11 Commemoration featuring the Mobile Exhibit on Saturday, October 1st at Germonds Park is CANCELLED. This difficult decision was made for the safety of all participants and visitors and to protect the integrity of the Mobile Exhibit, which can not withstand strong winds.
The Town of Clarkstown thanks the Foley Family and the 9/11 Education Foundation for their hard work coordinating this important community event. We encourage you to learn more about this organization and consider donating to help them continue to deliver educational programs nationwide. It is our hope that we can work together to honor the memories of those lost on September 11, 2001, as well as those still suffering from the effects of 9/11.
