Some of the notable cases I've handled included: * Family Law: After a young boy witnessed his father kill his mother with a baseball bat and then go to prison for the crime, the grandparents fought a long custody battle over the child. I helped the motherÕs parents obtain custody. * Personal Injury: I helped obtain a settlement for the parents of a young man with Down Syndrome who, due to the inattention of one of his aides, swallowed a toy and died. * Criminal: Defended a Mexican farm worker against robbery charges in a case of mistaken identity when he was accused of being a member of a gang that robbed a jewelry store. The truly innocent man was acquitted by a jury of the charges. Supreme Court Justices handle cases where misfortune or tragedy had occurred. I have spent my career working for individuals and families and helping them through the Court process.
