Clarkstown, NY – The Albertus Magnus High School girls soccer team received a celebration this week after clinching the 2024 New York State Championship. Their outstanding performance on the field earned them not only a championship title but also official recognition from the Town of Clarkstown.
To commemorate this achievement, Town of Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and Clarkstown Councilman Bob Axelrod joined students, coaches, and faculty in a special ceremony at the school. During the event, the Town of Clarkstown officially proclaimed January 29, 2025, as Lady Falcon Day, honoring the team’s dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
“This team exemplifies hard work, determination, and teamwork,” said Hoehmann. “They have made Clarkstown proud, and we are thrilled to celebrate their incredible season.”
