Orangeburg, NY — The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event will take place on April 11th at 6 p.m. at the Hennessy Center at Dominican University, located at 495 Western Highway South. The annual event is a powerful gathering where the community can celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and take action in the fight against cancer.
Cancer touches the lives of countless individuals—mothers, fathers, children, grandparents, neighbors, and friends. Relay for Life offers a chance to unite and make a difference, raising funds that support cancer survivors and their families, promote education about early detection and risk reduction, and advance critical cancer research.
“Cancer affects us all, but through events like Relay for Life, we can come together to make a real impact,” said organizers.
Community members are encouraged to join the Rockland Relay for Life or learn more by visiting the official event page.
Whether walking in honor of a loved one, supporting research, or simply joining in solidarity, all are welcome to take part in this inspiring event.
