New City, NY — In celebration of Economic Development Week, Rockland County Executive Ed Day and Economic Development & Tourism Director Jenna Nazario have announced the first-ever Rockland County Economic Forum, taking place on Wednesday, May 14 at JCC Rockland in West Nyack.
The event is designed to bring together business leaders, municipal officials, nonprofits, and residents to explore the state of Rockland’s economy, including its challenges, impacts, and potential benefits.
The day will be divided into two sessions:
- Morning Stakeholder Session (8:30 a.m. – Noon):
Closed to the public, this session is intended for key stakeholders in economic development, including local businesses, community leaders, and nonprofit organizations. - Evening Public Forum (6:30 – 8:30 p.m.):
Open to all Rockland residents, this session offers an opportunity to engage with local leaders and learn more about the county’s economic landscape.
Free childcare will be available for children ages 4 to 9 during the public session, but registration is required: Register here.
Both sessions will be held at JCC Rockland, 450 W Nyack Rd, West Nyack, NY.
This inaugural forum aims to foster greater transparency, communication, and community involvement in shaping Rockland County’s economic future.
