Tappan, NY — Last Saturday, the Tappan Fire Department teamed up with Supervisor Teresa Kenny and Councilman Brian Donohue for a joint effort as part of the Town of Orangetown’s Great American Cleanup. The community-driven initiative resulted in the collection of over half a ton of garbage, making a visible impact on the local environment.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the dedicated volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to help beautify the area. A special shoutout also goes to Joe Agnello of The NoCo Kitchen, who generously donated a hot and delicious meal for participants after the cleanup — a much-appreciated gesture to cap off a productive day.
Efforts like these continue to show the strength and spirit of the Orangetown community.
