Sparkill, NY — St. Thomas Aquinas College will mark a decade of academic excellence, innovation, and student achievement with its 10th Annual IGNITE Exhibition on Thursday, April 24 at 4:00 p.m. in Costello Hall. The event celebrates the College’s vibrant Community of Scholars and its ongoing commitment to curiosity, creativity, and discovery.
“IGNITE exemplifies the very best of our Community of Scholars at St. Thomas Aquinas College — where ideas are inspired, curiosity is nurtured, and innovation thrives,” said College President Ken Daly. “Over the past decade, IGNITE has grown into a signature academic experience — amplifying student voices, celebrating intellectual discovery, and reflecting our mission to prepare leaders who will shape a better, brighter future.”
The IGNITE Exhibition features standout projects from students across the College’s four schools, representing a wide range of disciplines including education, science, humanities, business, and the arts. Among this year’s highlights:
- An exploration of brand perception in the age of generative AI
- A research study on the impact of exercise on individuals with co-occurring depression and OCD
- A comprehensive review of student bereavement policies at Northeast colleges
- A creative campaign to tell the Spartan Athletics story
- An international business ethics case competition entry focused on the environmental impact of AI cooling systems
These projects reflect the depth of scholarly engagement that IGNITE fosters, as well as the meaningful mentorship students receive from faculty throughout their academic journeys.
The event is free and open to the public, and welcomes community members, educators, industry professionals, and prospective students to explore the rich tapestry of student work that defines the IGNITE experience.
