New City, NY — Boy Scout Troop 79 made a special appearance at the Clarkstown Town Board meeting this week as part of their efforts to earn a civic engagement merit badge.
The scouts observed the meeting proceedings and took an active role by leading the room in the Pledge of Allegiance at the request of Supervisor George Hoehmann. Their presence brought a welcome energy to the evening, showcasing youth interest in local government and community involvement.
