New City, NY — Supervisor Michael Specht joined community members, legal professionals, and elected officials at a solemn Holocaust Remembrance commemoration held at the Rockland County Courthouse this week.
The event was hosted by the Justice Brandeis Law Society of the 9th Judicial District, in partnership with the Holocaust Museum & Center for Tolerance and Education. The ceremony served as a powerful tribute to the victims and survivors of the Holocaust, while also emphasizing a continued dedication to justice, education, and the fight against hatred.
The gathering brought together judges, attorneys, educators, and community leaders to reflect on the atrocities of the past and the importance of preserving truth and tolerance in today’s society.
