NANUET, NY – The Shops at Nanuet has officially transformed into Nanuet Town Centre, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Rockland County landmark. Under the ownership of Nanuet Holdings DE LLC, which acquired the property in December 2024, the open-air shopping center is being reimagined as a dynamic, community-centered space offering shopping, dining, entertainment, and more.
The rebrand is not just a new name but signals a broader vision to create a lifestyle destination that fosters connection, experience, and convenience. Nanuet Town Centre is now designed to be much more than a place to shop; it’s envisioned as a space to gather, engage, and enjoy.
“We’re creating a place where people can connect, have fun, and enjoy themselves while shopping, dining, or simply spending time with their loved ones,” said Keri Cunningham, Marketing Director of Nanuet Town Centre. “We want to offer a new experience for visitors, whether they’re enjoying a concert, grabbing lunch with friends, or exploring what’s new in our center.”
Since the rebrand began, several visible improvements have already been made to the property. These upgrades aim to enhance the overall guest experience, making Nanuet Town Centre a more inviting space. Visitors can now enjoy new exterior signage at key entrances, fresh paint and landscaping, updated directories and wayfinding, and new seating areas throughout the complex
In addition, the Centre is focusing on digital engagement, with an updated website and active social media presence, offering an easy-to-navigate experience and a detailed event calendar for community engagement.
To kickstart the rebranding, Nanuet Town Centre is rolling out a series of exciting events. The first major event is the Grand Re-Opening Block Party on June 21-22, featuring live performances, interactive experiences, and special promotions. This summer will also see the launch of the Summer Festival, which will include artisan booths, food, drinks, live demonstrations, and family-friendly activities such as a crafting station for kids.
Additionally, Nanuet Town Centre will host a Summer Picnic Series on Thursdays from July 10 to August 28, offering free entertainment such as a bubble party, pop-up roller rink, DJ dance party, mini golf, and more. These events are designed to bring the community together in a relaxed and fun setting.
In the fall, the Centre will host Puppy Pals Live, an acrobatic dog show that gained fame on America’s Got Talent, followed by a series of Winter Weekend Events leading up to Christmas, complete with a festive holiday market, seasonal experiences, and a dazzling atmosphere perfect for family traditions.
As part of its community-first mission, Nanuet Town Centre will open its property to local non-profits, offering free space for events, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns. This initiative reinforces the Centre’s goal to support community connections year-round.
The revitalization also includes exciting new tenants like Golf Lounge 18, an indoor golf and sports entertainment experience, and Karako Suits, a family-owned menswear brand known for its high-quality suits and excellent customer service. These new additions align with Nanuet Town Centre’s commitment to bringing in top-tier tenants that enhance the shopping and dining experience for visitors.
Looking ahead, Nanuet Town Centre’s Phase 2 development will further elevate the space with luxury apartment residences, stand-alone sites for dining or service-oriented tenants, and a 1.25-mile walking trail designed to promote wellness and improve connectivity throughout the property.
From upgraded retail and dining options to immersive events and modern living spaces, Nanuet Town Centre is emerging as a key destination in Rockland County. Its transformation reflects a forward-thinking approach to community-centered spaces, making it a vital part of the area’s social and economic fabric.
