Nyack, NY – October 15, 2025 — Rockland County is set to dazzle once again as Rockland Fashion Week returns for its sixth year, promising a bigger and bolder celebration of fashion, creativity, and community. This year’s theme, “Fashion Through the Ages,” will take attendees on a sartorial journey through history, culminating in a grand runway show on Saturday, November 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack.
Presented by Hope Wade Designs, the weeklong celebration kicks off with a Launch Party at Hotel Nyack on Friday, November 7 at 6:00 p.m., bringing together designers, models, and sponsors. That same day, downtown Nyack will host a Pop-Up Shop event from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m., spotlighting 26 participating local businesses—a boost made possible through a grant from Nyack Tourism.
The main runway event, set dramatically in front of the H&M store at the Palisades Center, will feature the work of 12 local and national designers, including Wade’s own couture line. Among the featured designers are Rockland-based talents like LaTeffaney (Kurvacious), Fredlyne Burns (La Painture), and Lorraine Freeman (Customly Yours). Audiences will also be treated to performances from VP Records, saxophonist Hervé Alexandre, and the charismatic MC Qui Talks.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, Rockland Fashion Week carries a deeply rooted community mission. High school students from Clarkstown North are volunteering behind the scenes, gaining hands-on experience in the “business of fashion.” In a new partnership with BRIDGES, individuals with disabilities will also walk the runway, affirming the event’s commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
Producer and designer Hope Wade—a Pomona resident whose designs have appeared at New York, London, and Caribbean Fashion Weeks, and worn by Darlene Love on national television—envisions Rockland Fashion Week as more than a runway event. “I want this to be a permanent part of Rockland’s cultural and economic landscape,” she said. “It’s about beautiful clothes, yes, but also about the strength and beauty we bring to life’s challenges.”
Wade, who received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024, has ambitious plans: a manufacturing facility for designers of color, scholarships for emerging talent, and even a fashion-themed talk show and shopping network.
In past years, Fashion Week has drawn attendees from across the tristate area and beyond. Thanks to new grant funding from Rockland Tourism, this year’s event is expected to welcome guests from as far as Maryland and Connecticut.
Tickets for the November 8 runway show are now on sale. VIP tickets include a cocktail hour at Carlitos Tequileria, prime seating, and a curated swag bag. Attendees are encouraged to bring their best fashion flair.
