Job Title:

Seeking a charismatic, professional sales associate for part time and/or full time employment. Local owned, small business in Stony Point NY with exceptional customer relationships welcomes applicants that embrace a team-oriented, professional environment.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, a passion for learning, create a fun, memorable shopping experience for clients and willingness to network and grow a client base. Bilingual a plus. Must have weekend availability. Salary $18-$25 based upon experience.
Duties
– Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
– Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell products and promote special offers.
– Operate the POS system and cash register accurately to process transactions.
– Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to provide informed assistance.
– Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
– Assist with inventory management including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
– Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
– Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally using strong phone and computer etiquette.
Requirements
– Previous experience in retail environments
– Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
– Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
– Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
– Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends.
