
Spring Valley, N.Y. โ A 5-year-old girl was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Hoyt Street and West Street in Spring Valley, according to emergency responders.
The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. Emergency calls initially indicated that the child was unresponsive, prompting a rapid response from Hatzoloh EMS and the Spring Valley Police Department. Emergency personnel treated the girl at the scene before she regained responsiveness.
The child was then transported to Westchester Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment. Authorities have not released additional information regarding the extent of her injuries or her current condition.
Police secured the intersection while first responders assisted the victim and began gathering information about the circumstances surrounding the collision.
