TAPPAN, NY (September 5, 2023) – The 12th Annual Sons of Italy Italian Feast and Carnival, hosted by the Blauvelt Sons of Italy, Rockland Lodge, is set to make a grand return at the Tappan Masonic Park Fair Grounds from September 14th to 17th. This iconic event, often dubbed the “Biggest small town Italian Feast in the country,” promises a vibrant celebration of Italian culture, attracting thousands from the tri-state area.
Mike Pizzi, President of the Sons of Italy, expressed his excitement, stating, “This isn’t just any feast. It’s an entire village of festivities, offering a unique slice of Italian culture. We’re grateful for the overwhelming support from both locals and visitors.”
Highlights of the Feast:
- Culinary Delights: Attendees can savor authentic Italian dishes, from sausage & peppers, brick oven pizza, and a variety of pasta dishes to delectable desserts like zeppoles and cannoli. Beverages, including beer and wine, will be available daily.
- Entertainment and Games: The feast boasts a dedicated area for carnival rides and games suitable for all ages. Adults can enjoy an indoor casino, and a Grand Prize 50/50 raffle drawing will conclude the event on Sunday night.
- Live Performances: Local actor/director Paul Borghese will serve as the Celebrity Emcee and Entertainment Director for the fourth consecutive year. The entertainment lineup includes renowned artists like LAUREN MASCITTI, STEVEN MAGLIO, and many more.
- Special Honors: On Saturday night, two-time Academy Award Winner Bobby Moresco and legendary actor/comedian Tony Darrow will be presented with the Italian American Lifetime Achievement Awards. Attendees can also expect appearances from the cast of the trending Amazon Prime TV series, GRAVESEND.
