On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, the Town Board commemorated Black History Month by acknowledging Tahlaad J. Mahboeb for his efforts with the Piermont Police Athletic League and his numerous contributions to the community. Among the attendees was former honoree and renowned Rockland figure, Dr. Frances Pratt, adorned in one of her iconic hats, lending her support to Tahlaad and Supervisor Kenny, greatly appreciated by all.
