Paramus, NJ – PXG Tour Pros Linnea Strom and Megan Khang finished first and second at the Shoprite LPGA Classic. In celebration, PXG is offering free golf club fittings for women through the end of June.
LPGA Tour Professional Linnea Strom shot a final round of 60 to secure her first LPGA Tour victory at the Shoprite LPGA Classic. Megan Khang, another PXG LPGA Tour Professional, finished with a final round of 66, tying for second place.
June is Women’s Golf Month, making Strom’s historic performance especially notable. Her final-round score of 60 is the lowest by a winner in LPGA Tour history.
PXG founder and CEO Bob Parsons praised Strom, stating, “What an impressive final day for Linnea Strom. Recording a 60 is no easy task, and doing it in the final round of a tournament to earn her first LPGA Tour victory underscores just how much talent and drive she has. Congratulations, Linnea, on a history-making finish!”
Strom reflected on her victory, saying, “After making a birdie on the last hole to make the cut, I wanted to post a low score on the final day. I hit some really solid approach shots, but my PXG Putter was definitely my best friend today.”
To celebrate the win and Women’s Golf Month, PXG is offering free, tour-caliber fittings for women at all skill levels through the end of the month. Interested golfers can use the promo code WGMFREE when booking their fitting. PXG is also giving away a dozen free PXG golf balls to anyone receiving a fitting through June.
Nearby fitting locations include New Rochelle and Paramus, NJ.
