Suffern, NY, October 1, 2024 — Rockland Community College (RCC) has announced the appointment of new officers to its Board of Trustees, following the board’s annual meeting on September 23, 2024. The newly elected officers will serve a two-year term, continuing their commitment to the college and the community.
The newly appointed officers are:
- Chair: L’Tanya M. Watkins, Esq.
- Vice Chair: Dr. Dana G. Stilley
- Secretary: Ileana Eckert (re-elected)
- Community Outreach Liaison: Elana L. Yeger, Esq.
The RCC community also extends its heartfelt thanks to Martin Wortendyke, who recently concluded his term as Chair. Dr. Beth Coyle, Officer in Charge at RCC, expressed deep appreciation for Wortendyke’s service, stating, “Marty’s leadership has been invaluable to RCC, and we are deeply grateful for his unwavering dedication to the college. His guidance and service have made a positive lasting impact.”
Coyle further remarked on the future of the board: “The newly elected officers bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to advancing the mission of Rockland Community College. They are poised to continue the legacy of strong leadership and community engagement that has defined RCC’s Board of Trustees.”
