New City, NY – June 23, 2024 – Postpartum Support International (PSI) is set to host its annual Climb®, the largest global event raising awareness for perinatal mental health. Team Rockland will be participating in this significant event at Kennedy Dells Park Pavilion in New City on June 23. The Climb® brings together survivors of postpartum depression (PPD), anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and psychosis to walk, stroll, or climb, symbolizing their collective journey out of the darkness.
Participants in the event aim to raise funds for PSI, a nonprofit organization that offers a comprehensive online community of support resources for parents worldwide. Unlike other health walks, The Climb® includes those who have experienced mental health complications and the professionals who support them, such as doctors, therapists, and hospital administrators, walking side by side.
