Reviving Rockland Restaurants
Grant Program
| Rockland County is pleased to announce that funding is now available to restaurants under the Reviving Rockland Restaurants Grant Program. As part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARAP), Rockland County received ARPA funds and has established this new program to help local restaurant owners combat the negative economic impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, the program will fund the reimbursement for purchases of OUTDOOR DINING and COVID-19 mitigation equipment including tents, heating lamps, plexiglass shields, umbrellas, patio fencing, and more! Minimum Grant Amount: $5,000 Maximum Grant Amount: $25,000 Individual grants available to reimburse funds for past qualified restaurant expenses incurred between March 3, 2021 and January 2, 2022. Individual grants available to receive funds that will cover future qualified restaurant expenses incurred from January 3, 2022 to December 1, 2022. Eligible entities are Rockland based busiesses that are not permanently closed and have the capacilty for outdoor dining.
