Supervisor Hoehmann read to several schools this week for Rockland Read In Day. He was honored to visit Bardonia, Strawtown, Little Tor, and Liberty Elementary Schools and read books with the students and talk about town government and the importance of reading. Great job by the schools for coordinating!

This past week was National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, the Town of Clarkstown thanks our Clarkstown Police Department School Resource Officers who make our schools a safer environment. We are fortunate to have the very best SRO’s working with the various school districts in our Town. Thank you for all you do!

UNIDOM and the Village of Spring Valley, will be commemorating the 179th Anniversary of the Dominican Republic Independence at Spring Valley Village Hall, 200 N. Main St., Spring Valley, NY 10977 on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 5pm. We’ll be honored with your presence during this culturally enriching and patriotic ceremony, which will bring together everyone in the community.

Upper Nyack Village Hall will be closed on Monday, February 20th to observe President’s Day. Garbage and recycling pickup is not affected by the holiday.
