The Town of Clarkstown was established 231 years ago on March 18, 1791 after separating from the Town of Haverstraw. In honor of Founder’s Day, Supervisor George Hoehmann wrote his weekly column about the first Town Supervisor, David Pye and his family. Check it out here!
