Stony Point, NY, October 2, 2024 — Dunkin’ fans and community members gathered at 291 Willow Grove Road in Stony Point on September 25 to celebrate the grand reopening of Dunkin’s newly remodeled next-generation restaurant. The event was marked by giveaways, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a special donation to North Rockland High School.
Dunkin’ franchisee Kishan Patel commemorated the reopening by presenting a $1,500 donation to the North Rockland High School Senior Class Fund. Located less than a mile from the Dunkin’ restaurant, North Rockland High School serves over 2,500 students from Stony Point, Haverstraw, and surrounding communities.
“On behalf of NRHS, I would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dunkin’ Franchisee Kishan Patel for his generous donation of $1,500 to our Senior Scholarship Program,” said North Rockland High School Principal Lauren DaPonte. “We are deeply grateful to all our donors who unselfishly give to support our students in their journey to learn, grow, and lead. Your contributions make a lasting impact on their future success.”
The celebration was attended by Stony Point Town Supervisor Jim Monaghan, Rockland County Legislators Paul Cleary and Doug Jobson, Stony Point Councilman Todd Rose, Stony Point Police Lieutenant Daniel Schoales, Rockland County Director of Economic Development and Tourism Jenna Nazario, and representatives from the North Rockland Chamber of Commerce. A ribbon-cutting ceremony capped the event, highlighting the collaboration between Dunkin’ and local leaders.
In addition to the donation, the first 100 guests at 9 a.m. received a coupon book with free coffee for a year, and the first 100 guests at noon received a similar coupon book for free donuts. Dunkin’ Rewards members were also treated to a prize wheel with opportunities to win Dunkin’ merchandise.
The remodeled Dunkin’ is part of a new 3,500-square-foot facility, which includes a Sunoco gas station and convenience store. The restaurant is open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
