Rockland County, NY – Chief Assistant District Attorney Patrick (Pat) Frawley has been recognized for his lifelong dedication to justice and public safety with a New York State Senate Commendation Award, presented by New York Senator Bill Weber. The award acknowledges Frawley’s extensive career in law enforcement and prosecution, highlighting his impact on Rockland County’s criminal justice system.
Frawley’s career began in the Orangetown Police Department, where he served as a detective and worked on high-profile cases. His investigative skills and commitment to public safety led to his transition into the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, where he now serves as Chief Assistant District Attorney. In this role, he has played a key part in prosecuting complex cases and implementing strategies to enhance public safety.
Beyond the courtroom, Frawley has been instrumental in initiatives aimed at strengthening school security and has participated in training programs with top law enforcement agencies worldwide. His expertise and leadership have contributed significantly to Rockland County’s efforts to combat crime and protect residents.
Weber, who presented the award, praised Frawley’s contributions. He said, “from his decorated career as a detective to his leadership in the District Attorney’s Office, Pat has dedicated his life to justice and public safety. His work has made Rockland County stronger and safer.”
The award presentation was attended by Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh, who commended Frawley’s dedication and service to the community.
