Haverstraw, NY – Brahyan CepinRodriguez, 22, has been arrested and charged with rape in connection with an alleged sexual assault that took place in Haverstraw in December 2024.
Following an investigation, the Haverstraw Police Department took CepinRodriguez into custody last week and formally charged with two counts of first-degree rape.
CepinRodriguez was arraigned in the Village of Haverstraw Justice Court. Bail was set at $25,000 cash, $40,000 bond, or $40,000 partially secured bond.
Authorities encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist in the investigation. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released as the case progresses.
