Congers, NY — Supervisor George Hoehmann, County Executive Ed Day, and a host of local officials joined County Legislator Will Kennelly to celebrate the grand opening of Kennelly Square Senior Apartments. The new 55-and-over housing complex is located at the former site of Kennelly’s Grille Restaurant on Route 9W, directly across from Rockland Lake State Park.
The three-story development offers 26 one- and two-bedroom units designed with senior living in mind. Residents will enjoy amenities such as a fitness room and a communal lounge, promoting both active and social lifestyles.
Legislator Kennelly emphasized the importance of the project, stating, “This development not only preserves a beloved local landmark but also addresses the growing need for senior housing in our community.”
