Pomona, NY – County Executive Ed Day and the Division of Environmental Resources are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 27th Annual County Executive’s Outstanding Environmental Volunteer Award. This prestigious award honors dedicated environmental volunteers who make significant contributions to preserving and enhancing Rockland County’s natural beauty.
Award Details:
- Eligibility: Nominees must be at least 18 years old and residents of Rockland County. Previous nominees who were not selected are eligible for re-nomination.
- Submission Deadline: Nominations must be received by 5 PM on Friday, August 30th, 2024.
How to Nominate:
To streamline the process and reduce waste, nominations must be submitted electronically via the e-survey nomination form.
Award Ceremony:
County Executive Day will recognize this year’s winner during a tree dedication ceremony at Kennedy Dells Park on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at 11 am.
