NYACK, NY — The Village of Nyack held its first public workshop on Thursday evening at the Rockland BOCES Gym to gather community input for its $4.5 million New York Forward grant. Residents had the opportunity to share project ideas with the Local Planning Committee, which will spend the next six months identifying and recommending funding initiatives.
Mayor Don Hammond emphasized the importance of public participation, noting, “This is YOUR opportunity to shape the future of our village.”
