Orangeburg, NY – During the Orangetown Police Commission Meeting on Tuesday, December 17th, Town of Orangetown Police Chief Donald Butterworth recognized local police officers by presenting awards for their exceptional service. These honors celebrated officers who went above and beyond in the line of duty, often facing significant risks to ensure the safety of the community.
“Many of us, myself included, often overlook the everyday dangers our officers face,” noted a commission member. The awards serve as a reminder of the critical and often perilous responsibilities these officers undertake daily.
The Village of Suffern extends its heartfelt appreciation to these officers for their commitment to the community, exemplifying courage, professionalism, and dedication in their roles.
