Piermont, NY — Lace up for a great cause! The Piermont 5K Run & Walk Fundraiser returns on Saturday, May 10, starting and finishing in front of the Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library, located at 25 Flywheel Park West.
This community-driven event will feature a 5K run and walk, along with a 100-yard dash for kids, which is free to participate in.
Start Times:
- 5K Run: 9:00 a.m.
- 5K Walk: 9:00 a.m. (line up behind runners)
- Kids’ 100-Yard Dash: 10:00 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded in several categories including:
- Overall fastest male/female
- Fastest firefighter, EMT, and police officer (male/female)
- Top male/female finisher in each of the 13 age groups
The event supports local first responders, raising funds for:
- Sparkill Fire Department
- Nyack Fire Department
- Piermont Fire Department
- South Orangetown EMS
