Available Training and Programs
- Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) Training
The Special Operations Division offers CRASE training to schools, houses of worship, and businesses. This vital program helps prepare civilians for active shooter scenarios.- To Schedule: Contact Lt. Blaine Howell or Sgt. Shawn Bakker at 845-357-2400.
- Senior Scam Avoidance Education
The Community Policing Unit provides education for seniors on how to avoid scams. Groups interested in hosting this program can reach out to PO Dave Small.- Contact: 845-357-2400.
- Safety Lessons
Safety topics include bike safety, school bus safety, pedestrian safety, seatbelt use, stranger danger, and taxi/transit bus safety. These lessons are available to all community groups.- To Schedule: Call the Community Policing Unit at 845-357-2400.
- Taxi Safety Enforcement
