50 Percent Tuition Discount for Undergraduate and Graduate Courses Announced
The County of Rockland and St. Thomas Aquinas College (STAC) have announced a partnership aimed at expanding affordable educational opportunities for Rockland County employees. The collaboration offers a 50 percent tuition discount on both undergraduate and graduate degree programs, opening doors for career advancement and personal growth.
A Path to Affordable Education
St. Thomas Aquinas College President Ken Daly emphasized the initiative’s transformative potential. “The value of a college education has never been higher, so we are dedicated to providing affordable access to education that can transform the lives and careers of the dedicated employees here in the County of Rockland, who serve our local residents and communities so well.”
The program enables County employees with an Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution to transfer up to 70 credits, streamlining their path to a Bachelor’s degree. Graduate-level opportunities include Advanced Certificates and Master’s programs in Business, Education, and Public Administration. The tuition discount applies to full-time, part-time, and per diem County employees, making it widely accessible across the workforce.
