Clarkstown, NY — This week, Town Supervisor George Hoehmann participated in the Annual Rockland Read In Day, visiting several elementary schools including Lakewood, Strawtown, Bardonia, Liberty, Little Tor, Link, and Woodglen. As a guest reader, Supervisor Hoehmann engaged with students, sharing stories and promoting a love of reading.
The event provided a unique opportunity for students to learn more about Clarkstown and connect with their local government. During his visits, Supervisor Hoehmann presented a proclamation recognizing Rockland Read In Day and donated a book to each school’s library.
“It’s always inspiring to see young minds so eager to learn,” said Supervisor Hoehmann. “Events like these strengthen our community and highlight the incredible students and educators we have in Clarkstown.”
