NANUET, NY – Renowned singer-songwriter, playwright, and author Rupert Holmes is set to grace his hometown with a special performance at the Nanuet Public Library. Scheduled for Saturday, April 13, at 2 pm, the event promises an intimate afternoon filled with music, storytelling, and a walk down memory lane, all in support of the Friends of the Nanuet Public Library.

The afternoon event at 149 Church Street will showcase Holmes performing songs, sharing stories of his early life in Nanuet, including his high school job as a Page at the Nanuet Public Library, and providing insights into his illustrious career. The performance will also feature a short reading from his latest bestseller, “Murder Your Employer,” and conclude with a Q&A session, giving fans a rare opportunity to engage directly with Holmes about his journey from Demarest Avenue in Nanuet to international stardom.
Adding a local touch to the event, members of the Nanuet High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Keilah Figueroa, will join Holmes on stage to perform “Escape (The Piña Colada Song),” bringing together the community for a memorable rendition of this classic hit.
