Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) announced $25,000 in now-annual state funding directed by his office to Fearless!, formerly known as Safe Homes, to support domestic violence prevention programming. The funding was presented to Fearless! Executive Director Kellyann Kostyal-Larrier by Skoufis’ Chief of Staff, Christie Foster, at the organization’s November 20 “Celebration of Hope” brunch.
“I’m proud to continue securing the resources Fearless! needs and deserves to best serve domestic violence survivors throughout the Hudson Valley,” said Senator Skoufis. “None of our neighbors should have to live in fear at the hands of a partner, but when they do, Fearless! is there to support, comfort, and empower survivors. I’ll always fight to bring resources back to support their vital work in our communities.”
Senator Skoufis remains a vocal advocate for and supporter of violence prevention and harm reduction programming throughout the Hudson Valley.
