Since its inception in 2015, the Stony Point Music Fest has become a prominent platform for showcasing a diverse array of bands from the Hudson Valley. This year’s lineup spans multiple genres, including rock, jazz, hip hop, acoustic, funk, pop, country, alternative, and tribute bands from the 60s through the 00s. The festival aims to provide a vibrant atmosphere for both residents and tourists, offering not just music but also food, family-friendly activities, and a variety of vendors.
Proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit BRIDGES, a Rockland-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to advocacy and leadership on behalf of people with disabilities. The event is proudly sponsored by Rockland Tourism, the North Rockland Chamber of Commerce, and nearly 40 local businesses.
Ticket Information:
With tickets nearly sold out, festival organizers strongly recommend purchasing in advance to guarantee entry to each event. “We cannot guarantee tickets at the door this year,” said Tom Ossa, Secretary for the North Rockland Chamber of Commerce. “We have to respect park capacities, and people have steadily bought tickets since April 20, when we did our first pre-sale of the year.”
Detailed schedules and ticket purchases can be made on the festival’s official website here. Additionally, the festival’s Facebook event page provides updates and further information.
This year’s final Stony Point Music Fest promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music and community spirit. Don’t miss out on what is sure to be a highlight of the summer in the Hudson Valley.
